With WHSL Premier Division leaders Tring Athletic A not in action this weekend, Hemel Rovers took the opportunity to move to the top of the league with a 5-1 victory over Martin Baker Rovers.
The prolific Paul Hanafan added two more goals to his season’s tally, and Micky Hoare, Tom Porter and livewire Olly Buckley completed the rout.
Rovers’ second string also tasted victory when knocking in seven goals without reply against Sun Postal in their Division One clash.
Dave Flack and Asher Alleyns both grabbed a couple each, with Josh Bromfield, Curtis Donaldson and Jake Seabourne also on target.
Elsewhere, a Lewis Crowys effort gained a point for Gadebridge at JC United – keeping his side in second place in Division Two – while Bovingdon recorded an excellent 3-1 triumph at Vicarage Celtic.
Tring Athletic B took the points against Sarratt A, with an Aaron Ferdinand brace and a single from Richard Williams (pictured) earning a 3-1 win.
In Division Three, Gadebridge Reserves edged past Hunton Bridge 3-2 courtesy of goals from Aaron Black (2) and Ryan Campbell.
Potten End took all the points at Hemel Shooters with goals from Ben Beer (2), Alkesh Parmar and Dave Melhuish helping them to a 5-2 victory.
In other action, goals by Drew Duggan (2), Jamie Russell, Darren Trustram and chairman Kurt Weston earned a 5-1 win for Hemel Rovers A at Langleybury CC, taking them to the top of the Division Three table.
There was good news for Kings Sports in the Watford Peace Shield as they beat AFC Finchley 3-1 with efforts from Cheki Okoro, Dan Tomkins and regular goalkeeper Ben Alexander.
