A-grade Tring go top with win against Rovers

editorial image

This weekend’s torrential rain played havoc with sporting fixtures across Dacorum – not least in the West Herts League, where only four matches went ahead.

Tring Athletic A were Dacorum’s sole representatives this week, and they returned to the top of the league after winning 2-0 at home to Martin Baker Rovers.

Strikes by Will Salmon and Carl Williams were enough to earn the points and take Tring back above Hemel Hempstead Rovers and AFC Storm.

This Saturday sees Tring Athletic A, Hemel Rovers, Bovingdon, Gadebridge FC and Kings Sports all vying for a place in the last-16 of the Herts Junior Cup.
