First friendly sees Hemel thrash Leverstock Green
A friendly game between Leverstock Green and Hemel Hempstead Town ended with a thumping victory for the Tudors
Chris Dillon slid the ball past Graeme Milner for the opener before a defensive mix-up the allowed Gary Sippetts through to finish clinically on 25 minutes to put Hemel two up.
He added a third as the half time break approached, but the game was put beyond doubt by Nathan Bowden-Haase, who headed home at the far post from a corner shortly after the start of the second half.
Green grabbed a consolation after 70 minutes however when substitute Matt Wardle volleyed home James Armstrong's cross to put the final score at 4-1.
Two new face featured in Green's 11, with one-time Tring Town man Alex Kinsley and former London Colney forward David "Bullet" Parkinson both starting the game.
On Tuesday night Leverstock are at home to Kings Langley, while next Saturday they are at home to Eton Manor.
