Design a logo for club's 125th year
Youngsters have the chance to design a logo which will be used by Hemel Hempstead Town FC to celebrate their 125th year.
The club is running a competition for kids up to 16 to come up with the logo that will be used all around the club during the 2010/11 season.
It will be on signs at their Vauxhall Road ground, printed weekly on the front of the Tudors' match programme and it may even make its way onto T-shirts.
Chairman Chris Brooks said: "We really want to promote the 125th year and this will be a great starting point.
"We have a lot of things planned for next season."
The new chairman revealed that the club will be wearing a changed, quartered strip for the year, and that they are trying to organise a game with both a top-flight team and a celebrity side in an interview with The Gazette last week.
The winner of the competition, which will be judged by the club committee, will be given 50 worth of sports vouchers while runners-up will win Tudor memorabilia.
They will also get the chance to appear with their design in an issue of The Gazette.
Entries must be in by Friday, April 9.
