Masters come together for distance event

SENIOR swimmers from Berkhamsted Sports Centre SC and Hemel Hempstead SC competed in the Masters distance meet at Barnet on Sunday.
And the Dacorum Masters team took home 10 medals in total from their trip to the country's capital.

Hilary Coulson, from BSCSC, won gold in the 100m backstroke and 100m freestyle as well as a bronze in the gruelling 100m butterfly.

Club mate Tracy Holden took home three silvers. She came second in the 100m backstroke and breaststroke and the 200m freestyle.

HHSC swimmer Sian MacDonald won silver in the 100m breaststroke and bronze in the 200IM, Dave Pirrie scored a bronze in the 400m freestyle, as did Claudia Cruttwell
