Kings Langley's winning run has finally come to an end.
The SSML Division One side went into their home match with Bedford Town Reserves with a 100 per cent record, but were taking on a side on an equally impressive run of form.

The game between the two top sides ended 1-1.

Jack Johnson opened the scoring with his fourth of the season on the half hour mark.

The forward pounced on a loose ball when the Bedford keeper hit a clearance against his own man to put Langley one up, and were on top for the remainder of the first period.

They failed to score again though, and got off to the worst possible start in the second half when Bedford equalised just two minutes in.
The goal spurred on the visitors and were unlucky to see a header come back off the post with 20 minutes to go and an effort cleared off the line.

Langley play Leverstock Green in the first round of the Challenge Cup onn Tuesday and travel to Buckingham Athletic in a League match this Saturday.
