A school football team will be representing the county against some of the best sides from the south of England.
A team made up of Year 5 and 6 pupils from Westbrook Hay Prep School in Hemel Hempstead swept to success at the Herts U11 Seven-a-side Championships last Saturday to book their place at the south of England finals.

Head of boys sport at the school Stuart Stedman said: "It's absolutely fantastic.

"It's a great achievement for them especially as it wasn't just made up of Year 6 boys but was Year 5 and 6 half and half."

The boys qualified second in their group of six but went on to show their colours in the semi final and then the final against Habersdashers Aske's from Borehamwood.

They were representing Dacorum against schools from the other boroughs across the county.

The boys: Suen Koya, Adam Ripper, Jeremy Spreyer, Jack Wadmore, Oreofe Akinseye, Edward Khan, Ben Yeo, Jake Boydell
