Butler serves up a treat for Berko

Ben Butler was on the scoresheet in Berkhamsted Town FC's defeat of Knebworth.

They won 3-2 thanks to Butler's strike, an effort from Neil Richardson and an own goal.

As Berko won their latest pre-season friendly the August fixtures for the Molten Spartan South Midlands League Premier were released.

The Lilywhites kick off on Saturday, August 9 away to Holmer Green, who are managed by ex Berko coaches Jason Weinrebe and Owen Donaldson.

Their first home game is on Tuesday, August 12 when they entertain Harefield United and there is a break from league action when Berko travel to Tring Athletic in the FA Cup on Saturday August 16.

Berko's first Saturday home game is against Haringey Borough on Saturday August 23 and they are away to Chalfont St Peter on the following Tuesday.

Pre-season continues this Saturday at Tring Corinthians, kick off 2pm, and Berko entertain Welwyn Garden City on Tuesday July 29 .
