Dacorum fencers took their second straight win in the Herts Novice Foil League this week.
On Thursday night (17th January) they had a 45-20 win over the St.Albans novice team. Jack Parsons, Guy Miscampbell and Connor Sutton started well and built a steady lead. St Albans mounted a fight back but were eventually overcome by the consistency and experience of the Dacorum team.

The Herts Novice Foil League is a competition arranged amongst local fencing clubs to give novice fencers (those with less than 2 years fencing experience) the opportunity to fence competitively. This was the second competitive match of the tournament for the Dacorum team. Earlier in the competition they took a 45 – 24 point win over the University of Hertfordshire novice team.

Dacorum Fencing meet at Hemel Hempstead School, Heath Lane, Hemel Hempstead and offer regular beginners' classes for both adults and juniors who wish to try their hand at fencing. Details are available at www.dacorumfencing.co.uk
