Nominated by staff at York Ward, Hemel Hempstead Hospital
It is not often you hear people say that is it a pleasure to go to work, unless of course you are talking to the team who work with Susan Draper.

Staff at York Ward, Hemel Hempstead Hospital, have put sister Susan forward for People's Pride because, in their words, "she is just the best."

Susan heads the newly opened isolation ward at the hospital that opened in October.

In a nomination from her entire team, she was described as dedicated, professional and highly motivated, humble and "patience itself".

It read: "Susan is supportive to all her staff and devoted to improving care on the ward - so much so that patients don't want to leave.

"Susan's attention to detail and her incredible memory are legendary.

"She demands the highest standards of hand hygiene from all her staff which we gladly follow to the letter.

"We love Sue so much. She makes it a pleasure to come to work."
