Caring for others is second nature for nurse, volunteer and supermum Lyn Moore.

She has volunteered for Home-Start Dacorum - a family charity so well loved it was put forward for People's Pride in it's own right - for two decades.

With the help of her daughter Tracy Nicholls, Lyn has raised thousands for Breakthrough Breast Cancer and she also gives her time to the British Heart Foundation shop in Hemel Hempstead.

Tracy said: "My Mum deserves People's Pride for all the hard work she does for everybody else.

"Her life revolved around getting me through my pregnancies when I was ill and she is the rock of the family who everyone turns to.

"It wont come as a surprise that she is also a nurse at Hemel Hempstead Hospital and continues her loving caring work from outside her life in to the wards.

"Mum doesn't ask and doesn't want anything back from anything she does.
"She will be very shocked that I have nominated her, it is so natural for her to help other people she isn't aware what a difference she does make to peoples lives."
