Nominated by Jeoff Colls
The quality of Heather Allen's leadership skills shone through when her team were recognised for excellence just last month.

As manager of the Volunteer Centre Dacorum, Heather heads the team that recruits and guides local volunteers who support charity groups all over the borough.

Nominating, Jeoff Colls said: "Heather runs a team that provides one of the best volunteer centres in the country enabling Dacorum residents and employees to participate in a huge variety of volunteering experiences."

Under Heather's management the centre, based in The Roundhouse on Marlowes, Hemel Hempstead, received national recognition when it was given the Investing in Volunteers award in November.
