According to his friends, Don Kibble would do anything for anyone and goes out of his way to help people.

Nominating, William Carlile-Stitson said: "Don does a lot for a lot of people. He collects bits of shopping and newspapers for those of us less able.

"He even brought me my paper when he had the flu even though I told him not to. He goes out of his way to help people.

"Berkhamsted and Tring Stroke Support Group receive his help and he is always there for his family, he also never seems to have a bad word to say about anybody.

"Don's just a genuinely nice guy and great bloke."
