Nominated by Clive Townsley
Hundreds of youngsters learn from positive role model Callum Irving at Hemel Hempstead Stags Rugby League club.

Community coach Callum takes his skills into Astley Cooper, Longdean and Adeyfield schools and co-ordinates U13 and U15 Saturday leagues at the Rugby club on Penine Way.

Nominating, Clive Townsley said: "Callum is a positive role model and makes the sessions enjoyable for the kids, while at the same time commanding their respect.

"He's passionate about the sport and takes his role seriously.

There must be between 150 and 200 kids turning up for the different teams on Saturdays. But he keeps control and makes the sessions fun at the same time, which is no easy feat with kids.

"They like Callum and his sense of humour and they can relate to him. He's a really positive role model for them."
