The best sort of friends are those who always have time for you, which is why Ann Hudson and Noreen Farney are friends to be proud of.
The pair, from Leverstock Green, certainly make a difference to Moira Hanniffy, 84, who put them both forward for People's Pride.
She said: "Both of my friends are working but without fail visit me every week and nothing is too much for them and when you live alone it's nice to know I can depend on them day or night.
"They visit me nearly every week for a chat and a cuppa and I can assure you that it means an awful lot when you live alone."
