Nominated by Lillian Stride
Nothing is too much trouble for Age Concern staff at Half Moon Yard who offer a feeling of security to their elderly customers.

The Dacorum branch of Age Concern offers advice, support and a handyman scheme to the elderly.

Nominating, Lillian Stride said: "Since I found out about this service my life has come back to me.

"To know they are at the end of the phone line makes me feel secure.
"They are all wonderful people. The male staff are real gentlemen and they never mind if you ask them to do something for you.

"When I phone the office for something to be done they are very happy-go-lucky. I do think they should be recognised for the work they do.

"You name it, they will come along and fix it. They are great time keepers and very keen workers."

Lillian especially wanted to thank Julie Nudd, Doug Dews, Ray Godden, Tracy Doyle, Nicky Flyn and Clive Reynolds.

She said: "I'm sure other pensioners feel the same as I do about them."
