There are 6,000 chocolate prizes to be won in this year’s Easter egg trails from the Ashridge Estate Visitor Centre, next to the nearby Bridgewater Monument.
You can take part in them from 10am to 4pm between Good Friday and Easter Monday. Entry is £2.50 per child.
Children will have to become ‘eggsplorers’ and follow a map and trail through the woodlands to win their Cadbury Egghead.
Youngsters can also enter the Design your own Egghead contest to design the next generation of Cadbury Eggheads. The winner could see their design in shops in 2015.
The National Trust’s Ashridge Estate manager Kristen Proctor said: “Families love coming to Ashridge for their Easter Egg hunts as the ancient woodlands and meadows are perfect for enjoying and exploring the natural world.
“This year we have thousands of eggs as prizes, so come and see if you are up for the challenge!”
