The air ambulance crew and several paramedic crews were unable to save a man, aged in his 30s, who had suffered a cardiac arrest.

Emergency crews rushed to Catherine Close in Hemel Hempstead just before midday on Sunday (May 24).

An ambulance, two rapid response vehicles and the air ambulance were sent to the man’s aid.

A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “Unfortunately despite the best efforts of emergency services, the patient died at the scene.”
