‘Musical mayhem’ at Christmas festival

Tring’s annual Christmas Festival will kick off in Church Square at 6.30pm tonight (Friday, November 27) with the announcement of the Design A Light competition winner.

The chosen design will be lit up before the festivities get underway, with the market town’s High Street lined with stalls and shops selling handmade gifts perfect for Christmas presents.

There will be free entertainment all evening on the Akeman stage in Church Square, plus more Musical Mayhem in Dolphin Square.

In the library car park, there will be a funfair including a big wheel from which you can see the whole of Tring.

Father Christmas will be in the Victoria Hall in Akeman Street all evening, along with craft and charity stalls.

Tring Library is hosting pyjama stories at 5:30pm, and will be open until 9pm.

Some of the town’s churches are offering a break from the hustle and bustle, with different activities in St Peter & St Paul’s, Akeman St Baptist and High St Baptist.
