Dacorum Sports Trust hosted a Christmas event for carers, rounding off the first year of the Carers Take a Break project.
The festive get-together was held at Sportspace in Hemel Hempstead, where carers enjoyed festive food, drinks and the chance to mix and get information from support groups.
The event was attended by the Mayor of Dacorum and Councillor Neil Harden.
The Carers Take a Break project provides a break for those who care for others, allowing carers to get together and take part in an activity or just have a break while the person they care for does a physical activity.
It has been taking place since May 2015 at Sportspace Berkhamsted and XC Hemel Hempstead.
Activities have included Pilates, light aerobics and yoga, although many carers just enjoy the chance to chat and have a well-deserved break.
