Year 7 and 8 students from Tring School raised money for Sport Relief after getting active themselves in a dodgeball game.

Students from both years showed their support by donating on the day and the event raised more than £43 in total.

This amount will be enough to feed 44 children in Bangladesh, enable nine children with disabilities to join a sports club and fund two anti-bullying campaigns.

PE co-ordinator Jo Botwright said: “The children had a great time competing against one another with a lot of friendly competition, laughter and smiles.

“We are proud to show our support for such a great cause and enjoyed educating the children on how their generosity can help shape lives.”

During the week the youngsters learned about how Sport Relief does for children in the UK and abroad through sport, quizzes, posters, videos and pictures. Overall, the school raised an impressive £1,300 for the cause.
