See where your daily pinta comes from

Families can find out just what goes into producing their daily pint of milk on Sunday, June 5.

Wayside Farm, in Kings Langley, is one of only two dairy farms now remaining in Herts, and this year the Wray family are taking part in Open Farm Sunday.

The beautiful Jersey cows roaming the fields between Kings Langley and the M25 are the pedigree Gaddesden Jersey herd, bred by the Wrays for over 35 years.

Famous for their creamy milk, the Jerseys have recently been joined by some rare English longhorn cattle and this is a rare chance to get up close and personal with them and their calves.

The Wray family are keen for local people to come and enjoy the farm.

Light refreshments and local produce will be on sale, with plenty of free parking on the fields. Wayside Farm is on the Watford Road, Kings Langley WD4 8EA.

The entrance is just before the Link Road roundabout. The farm will be open 11am to 4pm, last admission at 3pm.
