Roadworks on A4147 to St Albans next month

Resurfacing work begins on the A4147 Hemel Hempstead Road next month on Monday, July 11.

The £54,000 resurfacing scheme will take place overnight, between 10pm-5am, between Bedmond Lane up to and including the roundabout at the junction with King Harry Lane and Bluehouse Hill, using a full road closure.

It is expected that it will be completed over two nights, weather permitting.

All noisy operations, such as jack hammering, will be completed by midnight. However, work may occur outside the scheduled hours if unforeseen circumstances arise.

A signed alternative route will be in place.
