Train operator London Midland says there is simply no more space to expand parking at Tring’s railway station despite complaints from disgruntled motorists unable to find a space.
Freelance journalist Gareth Davies, of Pitstone, said: “The main rush of commuters will always find a space. It’s after 11am that things get very sticky. Spaces will become available again after about 2pm, as early shift workers return to their cars.
“I can only see this getting worse as the economy continues to improve, and with new building planned in Pitstone – up to 60 new homes seeking planning permission at this moment.
