Parking review is signed off and Berkhamsted won’t dodge biggest price hikes in the borough

Have your say

Plans to restrict parking to a four hour maximum stay at a village car park have been scrapped by the councillor in charge of the borough-wide car parking review - but Berkhamsted will not be able to dodge the biggest price hikes despite criticism.

Councillor Julie Laws, who oversees environmental services and sustainability, this week signed off changes proposed under the Dacorum Borough Council parking review.

Motorists visiting Berkhamsted’s car park will face across the board charge increases - a move that has been slammed by some town councillors.
