A new gym that aims to get people fitter for less money is muscling its way into Hemel Hempstead.
Fit4Less, part of Britain’s leading fitness and wellness franchise brand Energie, is opening a new unit in Marlowes at the end of the month – and it’s already proving popular.
Owner James Milton, 32, of north London, said: “We’re a really affordable gym, but I don’t like to say ‘cheap’ because the gym itself is top quality.
“There’s no sauna, steam room or swimming pool, but we’ve got all the equipment and classes – which are included in your membership – that you see elsewhere.
“It’s an affordable way to keep fit without breaking the bank.”
Entrepreneur James says the feedback from people in the town centre so far has been very positive.
He said: “We have had a great response – it has been one of the franchise’s best openings.”
Membership to the gym costs just £11.99 for the first 12 months, which James says works out less than some fitness classes at just £3 a week.
The £30 joining fee is also available half price at £15 for a limited time.
The gym, at the site of the former ‘Living Room’ nightclub at 198-200 Marlowes, will offer features an open plan boxing studio and second floor dedicated to all manner of classes, from pilates and yoga to body combat and circuit training.
A launch event is to be held at the gym on August 28, before all services commence on September 1.
