A town centre charity shop has reopened its doors to bargain hunters after a two-week closure for refurbishment.
The Cancer Research store in Marlowes is sporting a fresh new look and the good cause was given help with the spruce up from workers at locally-based drinks firm Britvic.
They gave up their time for free to give the service yard area at the back of the shop a paint job.
As well as a facelift at the front of the store, volunteers now have nicer surroundings to enjoy in the staff area at the rear.
Manager Theresa McDonagh said: “It’s the first time we’ve had refurbishment of the back area in 26 years. It’s a bit brighter and fresher.”
