The first baby to arrive at Watford General Hospital on New Year’s Day was a bouncing baby boy from Hemel Hempstead.
Levi West came into the world on his due date, at precisely 1am and weighing exactly 7lb.
He was born to delighted parents Caroline and Adam West, of Turners Hill, Adeyfield, and is little brother to five-year-old Harley West.
The hospital, which is where many mums-to-be from Hemel Hempstead go to deliver, welcomed a bumper 10 babies - seven boys and three girls - into the world on January 1. The second, fourth and fifth bundles of joy to be born were also to Dacorum-based families.
