Firefighters are urging householders to install carbon monoxide alarms in their homes.

For around £15 people can ensure that they sleep safe in their beds at night without the deadly ‘silent killer’, which claims the lives of around 20 people each year, seeping into their lungs.

Symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning include headaches, nausea, dizziness, paralysis and even death.
