A good cause that helps blind and visually impaired people is launching a social group for those of working age.

Launching on Wednesday, April 30, at Boxmoor’s Social Centre for the Blind in Alston Road, the get together aims to encourage friendship, fun and a love for life.

The group will run every week, except during the school holidays, from 10am to midday.

A successful pilot for the Hertfordshire Society for the Blind project is already under way in Welwyn Garden City.
