Police are becoming increasingly concerned about the whereabouts of a 15-year-old boy who has been missing from his care home since last month.
Lewis Barnett was last seen at his placement in Manor Lane, Wymington, at 7pm on Wednesday June 25, but has been in contact via text message with the home and with his mother.
Police described Lewis as mixed race, 5ft 5ins tall, of slim build and with a short Afro style haircut. He was last seen wearing light blue jeans and a dark blue hooded top.
Lewis is known to have contacts in Hemel Hempstead as well as Northampton and Milton Keynes.
Officers from the Missing Persons Unit at Bedfordshire Police want to stress that Lewis is not in any sort of trouble but would encourage him to get in contact so they know that he is safe and well. If anyone has any information about the whereabouts of Lewis they should contact the Missing Persons Unit at Bedfordshire Police, in confidence, on 101, or text information to 07786 200011.
