Barbara’s grandson, Archie, aged six, who has severe developmental delays, is a pupil at Woodfield School.

Barbara said: “Due to the care of all the dedicated staff there, he has come on in leaps and bounds.

“Archie has quite severe learning disabilities but he is a truly happy little dude.

“He is achieving new things all the time.

“One thing he really loves is swimming. At present, Woodfield are trying to raise money for a new hydrotherapy pool.

“This is just a small thing that I can do to try and help them achieve their goal.

“My hair will grow back. The majority of the children at this school will face challenges for their whole lives.”
