Girls go for gold in county sports contest
Kings Langley Secondary School won gold in the Girls U13 rugby at the sixth annual Hertfordshire School Games (Level 3) County Finals, organised by the Herts Sports & Physical Activity Partnership and funded by SportEngland.
Almost 1,000 young people took part in 10 different sports competitions at the finals, held at Oaklands College, near St Albans.
Former Commonwealth Games gold medallist and GB Olympic fencer, Claire Bennett, gave an inspirational speech during the opening ceremony.
