Did you witness vehicle break-in?

Police investigating damage to a motor vehicle in Berkhamsted want to trace a woman who may have witnessed what happened.

The incident occurred in Northchurch Common between 5.45-6pm on Sunday, May 15.

The rear windscreen of a Peugeot 106 was smashed before offender(s) made off. Nothing was taken.

PC Mark Procter said: “A member of the public reportedly saw two people leaving the scene in a blue car. So far we have not been able to identify this lady and I am keen to trace her as she may be able to assist with our enquiries into the incident.

“If this was you, please get in touch with us on the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference D2/16/429.”
