Deaf awareness week leads to new training package
Herts Police are supporting National Deaf Awareness Week by launching a new training package for staff and officers.
Det Insp Tracy Pemberton, force lead for disability, said: “We have, in the past, been at the forefront of services for deaf people – but we have recognised that we have to do even more to keep our training current.”
