This Glorious Monster are not the average Edinburgh Fringe debut act. After posting their own comedy sketches online, they were quickly signed to United Agents.

They have a core fanbase on the London comedy circuit and have received interest from the BBC, as well as being piloted for a Radio 4 sitcom.

Their film Coming Out Clown won Sketch of the Year at both the Cofilmic Comedy Awards and Sketchfest.

The group first started working together about four years ago.

Alex said:“It started through music.

“We were in bands together and then I think we got a bit old and podgy for music and we decided comedy might be a better route for overweight, balding people.”
