Chardolini Sparkling Perry (75cl) bottles have been recalled by Aston Manor Cider due to the health risk the glass fragments could pose to consumers.

A spokesperson for Aston Manor Cider, commented: “We have identified glass fragments in a very small number of bottles of ‘Chardolini’ 75cl from two specific production batches (lots L27105N3 and L5328N3). No other batches of this product or any other produced by Aston Manor have been affected.

“As a precautionary measure, we ask customers who have bought any bottles with the above lot codes not to consume them and return them to the shop where purchased for a full refund.

“We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.”
