Police have released images of a horde of stolen items which they believe could belong to people in Herts.

Officers are appealing to burglary victims in the county to view the stolen goods – which mainly include rings and other jewellery – so that they may be re-united with their rightful owners.

The items were recovered by detectives from Sussex, who carried out a search warrant of a house in Crawley last month, but a force spokesman says they could have been stolen from properties in Hertfordshire.

Anyone with information should contact PC Ruth Catchpole using the non-emergency number 101.
