Burglars take 55-inch television and watches

A television, watches and computer games were all stolen during a burglary in Hemel Hempstead yesterday (Wednesday, May 4).

Offenders broke into the home in Townsend between 6.15am and 4.55pm by forcing the front door open.

They took a 55in television, a Tag Heuer Formula One watch, a Tag Heuer 1000 watch, an Aquaswiss G Bolt Auto blue watch, a Sekonda watch and various computer games.

Detective Constable Archi Bagworth said: “I am appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area between the times stated to get in touch. 

“In particular I’m keen to hear from anyone who may have seen the offender(s) in the area carrying a large television or loading a television into a vehicle.

“I would also like to speak to anyone who has recently been offered designer watches for sale.”
