Two hospice charities are urging people to get muddy for them and Bianca Gascoigne has pledge to get down and dirty.

The step-daughter of troubled ex-footballer Gazza is backing the Hospice of St Francis Mud Pack Challenge on Sunday, October 19 along with her mother Sheryl.

Bianca, who lives in Little Gaddesden, said: “I can’t wait to get involved. I love a good challenge and it’s a great chance to get muddy and have a laugh in a beautiful location at the same time as raising much-needed funds for a very worthy cause.”

The five-mile challenge involves scrambling, climbing and sliding through the beautiful grounds of Champneys in Tring.

It costs £25 to register and participants are asked to raise a minimum of £50 in sponsorship. To sign up click here

Neighbouring hospice at home charity - Rennie Grove Hospice Care - is also hoping to entice fundraisers with its muddy challenge.

The five-mile sponsored Mucky Mudder will be held on Sunday, November 16 at Green Park in Aston Clinton.

Entry costs £30 and is open to those aged 16 and over.
