Meanwhile, up the hill in Potten End’s Boxted Farm, Red Squirrel Brewery is expanding to make more beer.

The business will celebrate its 10-year anniversary with a celebratory bash and relaunch from noon until 3pm on Saturday, April 5.

Managing director Greg Blesson said: “We are extremely excited.”

Haresfoot Brewery will be officially opened by Berkhamsted mayor Ian Reay on Thursday, April 24, when its beer will be blessed by St Peter’s Church vicar Father Tom Plant.
