Model railway club’s event

Model railway enthusiasts will be heading to Leverstock Green Village Hall at full speed for this year’s Hemel Hempstead Model Railway.

The exhibition is on Saturday from 10am to 4.30pm.

There will be 11 model railway layouts together with supporting trade stands and the society is welcoming back two former members for the occasion.

Richard Hayden will be showing his model based on current operations in the Cambrian area and Mark Potton will show a novelty layout based on a modern Japanese theme.

The society’s N Gauge layout will be shown locally for the first time as will Chris Pollard’s small branch line terminus, which was this month awarded third place in a Hornby Magazine competition.
