Work agreed at damp nursery

A listed building in Bennetts End that is home to a nursery has been granted permission for works to be carried out to deal with a serious damp problem.

A meeting of Dacorum Borough Council’s development control committee gave the go-ahead to new flooring at St Nicholas Nursery in Bennetts End House, Eastwick Row.

The building was a yeoman’s farmhouse in the 17th century, part of a larger holding.
