I think what has hapened is people have been googling 'Maxine Wiltshire' (due to the RIP posts on facebook and people wanting to know who she is etc) and the horse story was the top result on a google search, so everyone was clicking through therefore the hemeltoday website registers it as a popular story.

So sad, I think Maxines family deserve an apology, it must be distressing time for them without seeing an out of date story...appalling

I read that story on this website the other day as well but as outofhemel says it is a year old, I'm guessing someone at the paper messed up and put her old story back on line upon hearing of her death-not an extremely bright or respectful thing to do.

Is this not the same person who was recently mentioned on here as being drunk on a horse at grovehill shops
