Was secret Second World War spy-training camp near Berkhamsted?

A HISTORIAN is searching for people who could help him pinpoint the site of a Second World War spy-training camp.

Nicholas Birnie, 60, of Westfield Road, Northchurch, says it could be where Noor Inayat Khan was trained for operations behind enemy lines.

The Indian princess was later parachuted into France to gather intelligence in the run-up to D Day.

Only one place I can think of and that's up at Ashridge. A lot of strange things happened up there I understand. Might be worth asking.
