Earlier this week we told you about a £700k upgrade to Dacorum’s CCTV system.
We can now show you footage from Cupid Green Depot in Hemel Hempstead’s Redbourn Road, where the hub of the new network will be based.
Equipment for monitoring the borough’s cameras is now being transferred to the hub from Hemel Hempstead Civic Centre by Dacorum Borough Council.
The council owns and monitors the cameras and uses them to help catch criminals and bring them to justice, as well as preventing crimes that have not yet been committed.
The move to the Cupid Green Depot comes ahead of the council’s plans to relocate out of its current civic centre base by June 2014.
