Nicola Gardiner, in Year 12 at Tring School, has already made some progress in researching her future higher education options at the Berkhamsted Higher Education.

Students from across Dacorum were given the chance to check out their post-school options at Berkhamsted School’s higher education fair.

The well-attended event allowed pupils to speak to representatives from various universities as well as more than 20 professions and 30 gap year providers.

A university admissions expert and a careers adviser were also on hand with advice for students unsure about their next steps.

Josh Bright, 17, from Tring School, said: “I’ve spent some time looking at universities on the internet, but it’s good to come here and actually talk to the representatives from the various universities.

“It’s opened my eyes to a few other universities that I hadn’t looked at so far.”
