Teenager attacked by girl gang in park
A teenage girl was punched and then assaulted as she lay on the floor by a gang of girls who snatched her mobile phone.
The 14-year-old victim was with friends in Randall’s Park, off Allandale, Hemel Hempstead, on Wednesday, September 12, when she was set upon.
Around eight girls punched and kicked her at around 7.30pm before making off.
Police have arrested two 14-year-old girls and a 15-year-old girl from Hemel Hempstead on suspicion of robbery and they have been released on police bail.
Julia Kachouh, who is investigating the incident, said: “The victim, who is from Hemel Hempstead, suffered bruising to her face and body as a result as the incident.
“Were you in the park that evening? Did you see or hear anything? If so, I’d urge you to contact police as a matter of urgency.”
