Slideshow: The Grove Rodeo

Yee-ha! There was panning for gold, horse shoe throwing and a bucking bronco at The Grove Rodeo.

The Western themed fair was such a hit that it is estimated to have raked in more than 5,000 for Grove Road Primary School.

Cash is still being counted but it is hoped the total will be a record amount for the Tring school.

The annual event, which has a different theme each year, is organised by the parent group Friends of Grove.

As part of the event on Saturday (June 27) every child from the school put on a rodeo performance, including dancing cowboys and cowgirls, Texan square dancing and Native American Indian dancing.

The money raised will pay for new equipment in the school's infants playground.
