Shop to raise funds for trust

editorial image

A fundraiser is hosting a Christmas shopping event in memory of her sister who lost her battle against leukaemia 15 years ago.

Organiser Martina Enright is holding the festive sale at Hemel Hempstead’s Warners End Community Centre on Saturday from 10am to 1pm.

Entry costs 50p – including a tea or coffee to keep shoppers going – with the funds going to the Anthony Nolan Trust. There will also be a tombola and stalls selling health and beauty products, jewellery, gifts, toys and much more.

Teresa Milton, who grew up in Jupiter Drive, Hemel Hempstead, passed away on November 22, when she was just 26 years old. She had undergone a bone marrow transplant but suffered a relapse dying just six weeks later.
